Republic Services' trash service has been temporarily delayed due to an unanticipated work stoppage. Republic Services is in contract negotiations with a union representing employees in Massachusetts. Those employees are engaged in a temporary work stoppage, which was joined today by employees from the Anaheim location. Currently, the stoppage is not anticipated to last more than a day.

If today is your normal pick up day, your containers should be picked up on Saturday. Please keep your containers out for pick-up a day late. The priority is to attempt to service all containers, however, should your recycling and/or green waste cart not get serviced, please bring one or both carts in at end of day on Saturday and reset back out with extra bags of material, if needed, on your next collection day for service.

Republic Services apologizes for any inconvenience and wants to assure residents that today's stoppage was not connected with any local issue.
