Take a look at the City’s Fiscal Year 2020/21 Draft Budget and tell us your thoughts. The first City Budget Study Session will take place Monday, May 18, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
As a result of the COVID-19 virus, resulting orders and direction from the President of the United States, the Governor of the State of California, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and the City of La Habra Heights Declaration of Emergency, the public will not be permitted to physically attend the La Habra Heights City Budget Study Session scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. Members of the public can watch the live broadcast of the City Budget Study Session on the City website at www.lhhcity.org.
Residents are encouraged to submit comments on the Draft City Budget in writing via mail to City Clerk, 1245 N. Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, Ca 90631, by email to info@lhhcity.org, or by phone at (562) 694 - 6302. Please note that the City Council is making every effort to follow the spirit and intent of the Brown Act and other applicable laws regulating the conduct of public meetings in order to maximize transparency and public access. It would be appreciated if communications of public comments related to items within the City Budget are provided to info@lhhcity.org prior to the commencement of the Study Session. Public comment received by mail or email will be read during public comment. If that is not possible, every effort will be made to attempt to review emails during the course of the meeting. If you prefer to provide public comment during the meeting over telephone, please call City Hall at (562) 694-6302 and leave your name and phone number and a staff member will call you during the public comment section of the meeting. The Mayor will allow the Clerk to review emails and share any public comments received during the meeting as well. Staff will also check the drop box located in front of City Hall before the end of public comment.
