Invasive Species in Los Angeles County

Recently, the County of Los Angeles Department of Agricultural Commissioner/Weights and Measures placed temporary insect traps in the city. The County of Los Angeles is monitoring and collecting data on an invasive species called Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer. This species is native to Asia and infects trees causing dieback of branches and leaf discoloration. There are bait stations located at The Park and the Hacienda and West vacant parcels.
