COVID-19: What To Do If You Are Sick

Symptoms of COVID-19

 • Fever or chills • New loss of taste or smell • Cough • Headache, muscle, or body aches • Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing • Sore throat, runny, or stuffy nose • Fatigue • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

If you test positive for COVID-19 ask for free treatment right away, even if your symptoms are mild. Most adults and some children qualify for COVID-19 medicines. Don’t delay: the medicines work best when they are given soon after symptoms start. Visit ph.lacounty.gov/covidmedicines or call 1-833-540-0473 to learn how to access free COVID-19 medication.
