[ARCHIVED] 4th of July

The City of La Habra Heights would like to remind residents that all fireworks are illegal within the city limits. Anyone found using illegal fireworks is subject up to a $3,000 fine.

Fireworks cause injuries in adults and children, spark fires that can endanger firefighters, property and the public, create stress for veterans with PTSD, and terrify many animals.

The City continually promotes an anti-fireworks message in hopes that residents will refrain from purchasing fireworks when they become available in neighboring communities shortly before the holiday.

The La Habra Heights Fire Department will be patrolling the City on July 4th. If you have questions please contact the Fire Department at (562) 694-8283, option 1. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
